Beautilicious is educating its consumer on how to use their products which is very a good effort in promoting their brand and image. However, I wish the girls would start off their makeup session with their bare face. I

Why are all the models Chinese? WHat about those of us with actual eyelids? R you going to have a special programme on how to apply eye make up for women with eyelids? Come on lah. Its great tips, just not very in line with the whole 1Malysia thing we have now. Last time I checked, we’re not in CHina!

    Hi CMY,
Thank you for your comments and compliments. Due to time constraint for the videos, we only place focus on the eyes. We wanted to demonstrate how some of our star products - the makeup kits comes with step-by-step instructions, are simply so easy to use. As we develop more products to complete our product range, we will plan for makeup videos that starts with bare face.

    Hi Suzie,
Thank you for your comments. As the videos featured the Malaysian Dream Girls, we initially offered a Malay (medium skin tone), a Chinese (fair skin tone) & an Indian (darker skin tone) for our videos. However, at last minute they couldn’t make it to the shoot. It was challenging to get replacement at the last minute. As a Malaysian makeup brand, we too would like to show the versatility of our colours on different skin tones and also face features. As makeup experts, we love double eyelids and sharp features (it makes our job much easier :))! We shall get professional models in the future to avoid last minute situations.

    Appreciate both your comments..

    Warm regards,
    Julie @ Beautilicious

Two thumbs up! I think your eyeshadows are great as they are highly pigmented unlike some of the international brands. Plus, it’s good to have asia-based cosmetics for sell for us asians so that we won’t depend heavily on imports. (Plus, PERHAPS they’re more suitable for asian skin? no idea.) Anyways, the tutorials are awesome and the packaging is perfect. Kinda reminds me of Stila’s. :D

P.S.: Are these products going to be available in Brunei in the future??? =)

    Hi Julie.
I actually do agree with Suzie. Dont tell me none of the girls were able to make it? There were lots of malays in season 2. With amazing face structures and with eye lids. Farah would have been suitable in this make up demo, she has a beautiful face. Natasha has amazingly big eyes that would have been suitable for the eye shadows and it would have made the make up stand out more. Its a shame. Beautiful faces gone to waste. no doubt as the industry would actually prefer to pick chinese. and the way Dawn was explaining was as if she was reading a dialog. even if she was, the producer or who ever was in charge should have actually done something about it. because its an absolute embarrassment as the Demonstration was not taken seriously. she was speaking as though she was a robot. none of the girls spoke well. wasnt clear nor was it natural. i am sorry but this is a disgrace. i use your amazing products and it adapts well to my skin. i am in love with the lip jam and paint as they smell wonderful. but i am very disappointed with this Demonstration you have put up. as i am very certain it will be mocked. because i am a very loyal customer to your product. Terribly sorry if i have offended u in any way. But here i lay all the honest truth.

    Cheers,
    Cassie

    Hi Moon,
Thank you for your compliments! Keep in touch for more new products and update soon!

    Hi Shely,
Thanks for your words of encouragement! At current moment, our brand is only available in Thailand. But the good news is we will be launching our online shop soon in our website. Watch out for it!

    Hi Cassie,
Thank you for your support and comments. I think we have been mis-judged on the use of the models for this demonstration. To avoid such debate, i think we shall really consider using only Mat Sallehs next time (just like all the other brands)! haha.. Jokes aside, yes we value your comments, we are taking small steps at a time to improve and we are indeed still learning. Most importantly, we are glad you loved the products!

    Warm Regards,
    Julie @ Beautilicious
